Practicum

Helping others with their questions about health and wellness should always be the focus of Certified Natural Health Professionals. Practicum is designed to cover certain crucial points and modalities, not covered in-depth by the other four certification seminars (Nutrition, Body Systems, Body Work and Iridology).

Ethics and legal “language” are of the utmost importance in all aspects of business and practice. The Practicum seminar emphasizes the right of free speech as it pertains to all communications between the natural health practitioner and the client. We must also keep in mind that we are not medical practitioners and should never behave as such. This important seminar delves into those key differences.

Because the acid/alkaline balance of the body is vital to healing, the research and findings of Dr. Carey Reams are introduced in Practicum. Dr. Reams developed saliva and urine testing that can be done by anyone, and provides useful information regarding the body’s terrain.

CNHP also believes that true holistic wellness involves healing the physical body, the mind and its influential emotions, and spiritual awareness and connection. One of the most powerful modalities to tie all of these dimensions together is the emotion-healing Bach Flowers. Practicum introduces students to the 38 Bach Flower Remedies and their impact on emotional and physical balance.

Upon Successful Completion of this Seminar, the Student will:
• Be able to speak with clients using legal and ethical language
• Recognize the importance of pH (acid/alkaline) balance in healing
• Learn how to test the pH of urine and saliva, AND how to achieve optimal balance
• Know how to overcome objections and common misconceptions about natural health
• Be able to differentiate between allopathy and naturopathy
• Be introduced to the concepts of emotional balance and its impact on the physical body

Certification Seminars

CNHP has several key areas we believe to be the foundation of all other natural health information and concepts. These five seminars are the basis of our certification, and the information in these seminars provides the student with the hands-on application of various theories and techniques used by natural health practitioners. Additional modalities such as homeopathy or aromatherapy can be better understood once the student masters these elements of good health.

Students can achieve their CNHP certification in eight days by attending this intensive course of study that presents all five Certification Seminars back-to-back.

Capstone Seminars

Capstone Seminars take the knowledge learned in the CNHP Certification Seminars and expands it to include additional natural health modalities. These seminars are designed to be more advanced and are designed to bring awareness of additional, specific techniques.

Distance Learning Capstone Seminars

CNHP is pleased to introduce the following Distance Learning Capstone Seminars. These at-home study seminars are an addition to our Capstone Seminars which will make it more convenient for our CNHP students to continue their natural health education and training.
