Any person interested in learning more about the natural health field can receive training by a competent, experienced and dedicated faculty. Candidates will be required to attend and complete five institute seminars dealing with the various theories and techniques used by natural health practitioners. Each seminar will involve a minimum of thirteen hours of study, classroom participation and practical demonstration. Certification is dependent upon the successful completion of a written exam given at the end of each seminar.

This seminar discusses the various theories and basic elements of good nutrition. Students will learn the importance of diet, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herbal supplementation.

Emphasizes the practical aspects of maintaining homeostasis in the body and maximizing health. This seminar will deal with the organs, glands, tissues and structures of the body. Special note will be made of the function and interrelationship of the various organs.

Enlisting the latest European Iridology methods, as well as the traditional Jensonian American Iridology method, this seminar will focus on the practical application of iris analysis and interpretation. Students will learn how to incorporate their knowledge of nutrition and body systems in an effort to address health weaknesses revealed through the eyes.

Focuses on enhancing the proper relationship between body function and structure. Students will observe demonstrations which utilize the least invasive methods to normalize weakened body structures in an effort to strengthen diminished body functions.

Seminar shall deal with professionalism and the practical aspects of helping others. Emphasis shall be given to a study of the ethical and legal aspects of the natural health field as well as techniques of enhancing the practioner-cient relationship. The interdependence of body, mind and spirit in maintaining health will be demonstrated.



After completion of the first five seminars, an individual can maintain his/her CNHP certification by enrolling in one advanced capstone per year or by reattending one of the five basic seminars. Advanced capstones may cover a wide variety of modalities such as Homeopathy, Polarity, Midwifery, Magnetism, Kinesiology, Chinese Herbal Therapy and Constitutional Physical Analysis. These continuing educational capstones are designed to enhance the skills and abilities of the Health Professional, providing the resources to assist others in the pursuit of balanced living, disease prevention and proper health maintenance.

This class details the Standard American Diet and its direct relationship to today's health issues such as adrenal fatigue, insulin resistance, cholesterol, and obesity. Also covered are specific concerns for men and women including the endocrine system and hormones as well as raising healthy children. Everyone eats; find out what effect their food has on their health and what they can change to correct it.

Traditional flower remedies have been used to deal with a wide range of personal difficulties ranging from fear and anxiety; uncertainty and indecisiveness; envy and jealousy; and impatience and irritability; and more. Bach Flower remedies, originally discovered in the early 1930’s, have been used worldwide for over sixty years with great success. Learn how they can be used as powerful tools in addressing the stress associated with both trauma and everyday problems.

This seminar is an in-depth study on clinical Aromatherapy as an alternative therapy. You will gain a working knowledge of essential oils (botanical medicinal grade); producing oils from aromatic plants; and an oil's biochemical specificity. The physiological/psychological effects on body systems as well as the mind will be presented. You will study how to select and blend oils to address a variety of common ailments, pregnancies, infants, children, and the elderly. You will also learn how to custom-blend your own personal formulas for dealing with daily stress and how to create a handy first-aid kit.

The clotting factors of blood are sensitive to changes in body chemistry. By learning to identify the different formations in the clotted blood drops, you can identify the degeneration and free radical stress which is being placed on the specific organs and systems of the body. This will enable you to access the nutritional needs of the client.

Dr. Frerking will be presenting the Loomis System of Enzyme Replacement. Enzymes are in every living cell. They are essential nutrients, yet they are removed from our food supply in order to create a long shelf life. Come and learn what happens to the human body when enzymes (essential nutrients) are withheld either due to poor quality of food or poor digestion.

Primarily drawing from Traditional Chinese Medicine with some Ayurvedic influence, this class will analyze the tongue, nails and face. Since each person represents a walking history of their development, you will understand how the features of the body reveal constitutional strengths and weaknesses. You will learn the genetic and lifestyle markings in relation to the body's systems, organs and glands. These valuable tools require neither expensive equipment nor elaborate technology. This class will enable you to gain quick and easy assessment for determining imbalances in the body and understanding the whole person.

This class will discuss the history of classical homeopathy, case taking, how homeopathics are made, and remedies for various conditions. Also covered will be modern applications of homeopathics and combination remedies. Nancy McCullough, CNHP, has been a Registered Nurse since 1977. She uses homeopathy as well as other modalities in her office, Natural Alternatives, Inc., north of Rochester, New York since 1994.

This class will discuss the variety of parasites that invade the human body, the negative effects they cause, and the best methods using natural techniques to remove parasites. Victoria Hunt, CNHP, is the owner of Nature's Health, Inc. in Loris, South Carolina, and she has worked with clients since 2000. She teaches natural health classes in parasitology, nutrition, biological terrain, and self-help. Her interest in parasitology began in 1996 with her own health problems (Fibromyalgia) and their resolution.

These couses will include a discussion of the evolution of herbal medicine and the history of botanical practice in the U.S., along with down-to-earth hands-on information about identification, harvesting, storage, and practical ways of using Natures' abundant apothecary. This empowering program encourages "thinking outside the capsule" by returning to the roots of our herbal traditions.

This course will bring you information on all aspects of "Muscle Response Testing (MRT), including in-depth discussion of how to set up a thriving consultation business. Day-One will be spent solely on all aspects of MRT with hands-on practice identifying imbalances in body systems, organs and glands etc. Day-Two will present discussion on how to conduct consultations. This will incorporate the MRT information, going over intake forms, other visual aspects and how to put it all together. Suggestions for possible changes in a client’s diet, lifestyle and supplements will be evaluated. The class will also discuss topics ranging from advertising, insurance, location, and whether or not to incorporate. Learn how to upgrade and professionalize your approach to providing service to your clientele with proper office decorum.

The Reams Testing capstone will be an in-depth, but basic seminar of materials as taught by Dr. Carey Reams. Included in the seminar will be detailed proper lab procedures, basic digestive system anatomy, how to analyze the equation, interpretation of perfect numbers vs. healing range, how to match foods and supplements to the numbers. Details about calciums and how to match the proper calciums with the numbers will be included in the instruction.
